Maddin Hauser lawyer moderates ‘Savvy Entrepreneur Session’
TiE Detroit, along with the Great Lakes Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) and Great Lakes Entrepreneurs’ Quest (GLEQ) selected Maddin, Hauser, Wartell, Roth & Heller, P.C. attorney and shareholder Kasturi Bagchi as a moderator for one of its “Savvy Entrepreneur Series” programs.

The session was held at Lawrence Tech University in Southfield on Oct. 12.

The Savvy Entrepreneur Series provides technology-based start-ups with the opportunity to learn in a small group setting with a panel consisting of a subject matter expert, an entrepreneur and an investor.  The event focused on protecting intellectual property rights on a shoestring budget.

“Start-ups are typically starved for cash. The panelists suggested cost effective ways of protecting your idea through the use of non-disclosure agreements and other techniques,” said Bagchi.
Bagchi is a resident of Farmington Hills and she focuses her legal practice on real estate, corporate and business, as well as lending and finance.
