Brush up on Belle

Students, faculty and staff participated in the third annual Wayne Law and Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights “Family and Friends Service Day” on Friday, Aug 17. The group spent the afternoon cleaning up and beautifying Belle Isle. Clearing brush and trimming trees around a classic barn near the Conservatory was on the agenda the sounds of sawing, snipping and clipping filled the air. Lunch was provided at the law school and then the group traveled to the Belle Isle Nature Zoo by both bus and personal transportation and were briefed before setting out on the
cleanup effort.
