Brinks, Hofer, Gilson, & Lione hosted an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 16, in celebration of its newest office located in the Elijah J. McCoy U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Detroit.  Happy to welcome guests to the new office were (left to right) Kelly K. Burris, Brinks shareholder and managing partner of the new Detroit office, and James R. Sobieraj, Brinks president.  “We’re very excited to be here—number 1) in Detroit, and 2) to be in the same building with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office which opened in July last year,” said Burris. “So we’re very excited to be here and be able to be close to the business that we do every day with the patent examiners and the judges.”
