313 Project seeks donations for Adopt-a-Child Holiday program

Since 2009, the 313 Project and its volunteers have provided holiday gifts for more than 180 children in need. This year, the nonprofit group has pledged to adopt at least 50 children. Each child will receive a winter coat, toys, play clothes, suit or dress and hat and gloves. Adopt-a-Child sponsors can help bring holiday joy to Detroit’s underserved children. Volunteers are also needed to help wrap and deliver presents to sponsored children. For more information or to arrange a tax deductible donation or to sponsor a child or family, email the313project@gmail.com
