Cooley hosts annual Interfaith Dinner

WMU-Cooley Law School's Auburn Hills campus hosted its Fifth Annual Interfaith Dinner and panel discussion on Tuesday, October 20. The event was hosted by the Jewish Law Students Association, the Muslim Legal Society and the Christian Legal Society. Following in the tradition of past events, each student organization invited two panelists. One of the more memorable questions the student organization leaders asked the panel was "does your faith make you a better legal practitioner?" Each of the panelists touched upon the basic tenants of their faith and explained how their beliefs are complimentary to the universal precepts of the rule of law. "It was inspiring to see the bond between all our students and their collective commitment to fostering a continuing dialog on this topic," said Dean Joan Vestrand. Published: Wed, Oct 28, 2015
