Attorney receives award for exemplary service from SBM’s Real Property Section


Mark Krysinski, a partner at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., and former chair of the Real Property law section of the State Bar of Michigan, received the C. Robert Wartell Distinguished Service award at the section’s annual summer conference on Thursday, July 14 at Boyne Mountain, Mich. Jaffe CEO William Sider made the announcement.

The C. Robert Wartell Distinguished Service award is presented in recognition of exemplary service to the Real Property Section over an extended period of time. The award presented to Mr. Krysinski noted many of the leadership positions he has held in the section over the past 20 years, including serving as chair of the Commercial Leasing Section Committee.

Mr. Krysinski is a past member of Jaffe's board of directors and past chairman of the firm’s real estate practice group, specializing in commercial development and leasing of real estate; financing and leasing of office, industrial, apartment and retail projects nationwide; complex mixed-use condominium developments, manufactured housing communities and multi-family housing communities.

In addition to being an active member of The State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Krysinski is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan Law School and a frequent speaker at development, leasing and financing seminars for The State Bar of Michigan, International Counsel for Shopping Centers, Building Owners and Managers Association and more. He is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the American Bar Association sections of Real Property and Business Law, and sits on the Real Property Advisory Board for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Mr. Krysinski earned his bachelor’s degree in economics with distinction from The University of Michigan and is a cum laude and order of the coif graduate of Wayne State University Law School.

 

MDTC hosts 20th Annual Open Golf  Tournament Sept. 9


Join MDTC members for this annual fundraiser from 9 a.m-7 p.m Friday, September 9 at Mystic Creek Golf Course and Banquet Center, 1 Champions Circle in Milford. Cost is $165 per person registered on or before August 23 ($175 August 24 or later), or $50 for dinner only. The fee includes practice range balls, greens fees, card, deli sandwich lunch at registration and a tenderloin/chicken breast combo plate dinner at 5 p.m. Trophies will be given for Tournament Champs, Longest Drive (men/women), Closest to Pin (men/women) and Winning Foursome.
