Law school hosts virtual Public Interest Career Fair

Nearly 60 students and over 30 employers participated in Wayne State University Law School’s annual Public Interest Career Fair on Friday, January 14.

During the virtual event presented by the Law School’s Office of Career and Professional Development, students met and networked with attorneys representing an array of employers, including nonprofit organizations; federal, state and local government agencies; and Wayne Law’s Experiential Learning program. 

The virtual format permitted employers located outside of Southeastern Lower Michigan that typically wouldn’t be able to participate due to geographical constraints to easily participate and connect with Wayne Law students. 

Students and employers alike applauded the event and developed mutually beneficial connections that will advance their summer job search or help meet their summer recruiting needs.
