 David Skidmore authors chapter for Michigan Probate Litigation Guide

David L.J.M. Skidmore, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, authored a chapter in the new “Michigan Probation Litigation: A Guide to Contested Matters.”

In the second edition of the popular guide produced by ICLE, Skidmore has written the chapter on “Intestacy and Determination of Heirs.”  The chapter describes the legal rules that govern what happens when someone dies without a will with a special focus on the disputed issues that arise most commonly.
The 540-page guide features 11 chapters that cover topics from basic procedural issues in probate litigation and spousal rights to creditor's claims and trust contests. 

Crystal Jones joins Mika Meyers business and estates practice groups as paralegal

Crystal M. Jones has joined Mika Meyers Beckett and Jones PLUS Business and Commercial, Real Estate and Trusts and Estates Practice Groups as a paralegal. Crystal has a bachelor of arts from Grand Valley State University and had been assisting two of the firm’s real estate and municipal specialists for the last several years.
