Watt Law Firm opens second location



Watt Law Firm, a general practice firm with an emphasis on Divorce, Bankruptcy, Business Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, Criminal Law, Collections and Social Security Disability, now has two
locations.

One location is in Cascade at 2951 Thornhills Avenue S.E., Grand Rapids 49546 with the phone number 616-776-0000, and using the email wattlegalassistant@gmail.com.  The second and new location is at 705 Fulton Street West, Grand Rapids, 49504, phone 616-278-3933 and email address wattparalegal@gmail.com.  Both  have free parking directly in front of the buildings, and both are handicap accessible. The downtown location is also located on the Rapid bus line.

Attorney Stephen C. Watt has been in practice since 1977 after graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is a third generation attorney, and has a brother, a niece and a nephew who are attorneys as well.

 

Daly elected to Special Olympics Emerging Leaders Advisory Council
 


Erik R. Daly of Miller Johnson was elected to his first two-year term on the Emerging Leaders Advisory Council of Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI).

Daly joins over a dozen professionals from across Michigan representing diverse fields and backgrounds. They use their skills to passionately support SOMI in achieving its mission of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Daly focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate financing, restructurings and securities law matters.  He has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies in their ongoing M&A initiatives, to family-owned businesses pursuing exit transactions to private equity funds.  Since 2014, Daly has been recognized by Chambers USA for corporate/M&A and as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers. 

Daly is a member of local chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association as well as the Economic Club of Grand Rapids and the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum.  He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his B.S., summa cum laude, from New York University.
