Sinas Dramis Law Firm has named Stephen H. Sinas a partner. Sinas, who practices in the firm's Lansing office, joined the firm in 2007.
"I couldn't be happier or ask for a better partner," said the firm's President, Bryan Waldman. "I've worked very closely with Steve over the past eight years and have seen him successfully handle a variety of complex cases. He is an outstanding litigator who is extremely well liked by his clients and respected by opposing counsel."
Sinas concentrates his practice in auto no-fault insurance law, personal injury cases, and constitutional rights cases. He was selected a "Top 5 Under 35" attorney by the Ingham County Bar Association in 2013 and a "Michigan Super Lawyer" in the field of Plaintiff's Personal Injury each year since 2013. He has litigated cases in numerous trial courts across Michigan and has argued cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.
Sinas serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he teaches a course on the Michigan Automobile No-Fault Insurance Law. Additionally, he serves as the statewide Chair of Michigan Association for Justice's "People's Law School."
Sinas has been actively involved in a number of other professional activities, including serving as a member of the State Bar of Michigan District E Character & Fitness Committee, a member of the Michigan Association for Justice Executive Committee, and a member of the Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Executive Board.
Sinas Dramis, founded by Sinas's grandfather in 1951, has 12 attorneys, seven of whom are partners.
"It's an honor to be named a partner in the firm that my grandfather founded and my father helped build," said Sinas, whose father, George T. Sinas, is currently managing partner. "There's definitely a legacy to uphold, and that guides me every day."
Sinas earned a B.A. in Economics and English literature from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2007. He lives with his wife and son in East Lansing.
