The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a traffic crash January 16 in Charleston Township involving a single vehicle that had 2 occupants.
Upon investigating, Sheriff’s Deputies found that the crash happened on Augusta Drive just east of 38th St.
The 43-year-old male passenger was ejected from the vehicle, suffered severe injuries, and was transported to the hospital.
The 36-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries, and after being cleared from the hospital, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
No names are being released at this time, as this incident is still being investigated.
