On January 31st, 2025, at approximately 1502 hours,
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury traffic crash at the intersection of E. Augusta Dr. and E. G Ave in Charleston Township January 31 at approximately 3:02 p.m. that left two injured.
Upon investigation the Sheriff Department notes it appeared that one of the drivers was turning eastbound onto E. Augusta Dr. from E. G Ave., and failed to yield to the other vehicle that was traveling westbound on E. Augusta Dr.
The Sheriff news release notes the westbound vehicle collided into the side of the vehicle that was making a left-hand turn onto E. Augusta Dr.
The driver of the vehicle that made the turn was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver had minor injuries and was not transported.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by LIFE EMS and the Galesburg-Charleston Township Fire Department.
