PHOTO #1: Detroit native Stephen M. Ross (left in photo at right), a billionaire developer and noted philanthropist, was the guest of honor recently during a special question-and-answer program at Wayne State University Law School, his legal alma mater.  Ross, pictured with Wayne Law Dean Jocelyn Benson (right), was a member of the Class of 1965 at Wayne Law after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where the business school is named in his honor.

PHOTO #2: Gov. Rick Snyder (photo left) was among those who paid tribute to Ross at the April 9 event, saluting the founder of The Related Companies, a global real estate development firm, for his business and philanthropic accomplishments over the past 50 years.  Welcoming Ross (third from right) to Wayne Law were (left to right) WSU first lady Jacqueline Wilson, WSU President M. Roy Wilson, Wayne Law Dean Jocelyn Benson, U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Damon J. Keith and Gov. Snyder.
