Summerville of Dykema Gossett PLLC; William H. Goodman of Goodman & Hurwitz PC; Brandy Robinson, law clerk, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, WBA president; Eric Mathis of Detroit Medical Center; Butch Holowell, general counsel of Detroit Branch, NAACP; Wayne County Circuit Court Referee David Perkins; Chantez Pattman Knowles of Bodman; Andrea Bradley of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, & Cohn LLP; and Michelle A. “Today’s panel is designed to look into the careers of lawyers who do public interest work or work to advance the public interest,” Robinson said. “We want to know what they do, why they do it, and why it’s important for the next generation of lawyers to take up social justice issues.”
