Appointments to Attorney Grievance Commission announced by court

The Michigan Supreme Court has announced the following appointments to the Attorney Grievance Commission: * Charles S. Kennedy III of Royal Oak, attorney and member of the law firm of Fildew Hinks PLLC, is appointed for a term ending October 1, 2014. * Jeffrey T. Neilson of Bloomfield Hills, attorney and shareholder of the law firm of Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer, & Garin PC, is appointed for a term ending October 1, 2014. * Dr. R. B. Ouellette of Bridgeport, pastor of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport and founder of Bridgeport Baptist Academy, is appointed for a term ending October 1, 2014. * Martha D. Moore of Rochester, attorney, assistant dean and professor of law at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, is appointed chairperson of the AGC for a term ending October 1, 2012. * David L. Porteous of Reed City, attorney and principal of the law firm of McCurdy, Wotila, & Porteous PC, is appointed vice-chairperson of the AGC for a term ending October 1, 2012. The AGC, which was established in 1978 by order of the Michigan Supreme Court, investigates and prosecutes attorney misconduct cases. The nine members of the AGC serve on a voluntary basis.
