'Future of Mortgage Banking' focus of MMLA program on April 11

The Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) Education Committee will present David Lykken, managing partner of Mortgage Banking Solutions (MBS), to talk about the future of mortgage banking on Wednesday, April 11, from 9:30 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Walsh College Novi Campus. Lykken and his team assist with mergers and acquisitions, warehouse lines of credit, transitioning to hedging and accounting services.

In addition, the program will also feature Chris Bennett, founder, president and CEO of Vice Capital Markets. Since 2001, Bennett has directed its growth to becoming the largest hedging firm in the Midwest. Prior to Vice Capital, Bennett was director of Secondary Marketing for Homestead USA, and head trader at Republic Bancorp.

Cost for the seminar (including boxed lunch) is $99 for MMLA members and $139 for non-members. Reservations made and not canceled 5 days prior to the event are not refundable.
