Two Oakland County teens graduated from the Juvenile Treatment Court program during a special ceremony on Tuesday, May 28 in which Circuit Court Judge Mary Ellen Brennan (pictured) presided.

Brennan praised the two grads for their “determination” in battling their substance abuse issues, preferring to label the ceremony a “commencement” in terms of a fresh start for the pair of teens.

As the presiding judge of the Juvenile Treatment Court, Brennan also recognized the continuing support that The RESTORE Foundation provides to the drug court programs in Oakland County. The nonprofit organization, which has supplied private funding support to the drug courts since the fall of 2008, held a fund-raising reception June 3 at Lelli’s Inn in Farmington Hills.
