Oakland County Circuit Court Judges James Alexander and Wendy Potts were recently admitted to the American College of Business Court Judges.

The ACBCJ is an organization that facilitates communication and education between business court and commercial court judges throughout the United States.

Potts and Alexander were appointed to the Oakland County Circuit Court Business Court by the Michigan Supreme Court earlier this year.

The court officially began receiving cases on June 3. The Michigan Legislature created the Business Court during its 2012 session in each circuit court having more than three judges.
