Wayne State Oakland Center open house to take place on Aug. 5

Learn more about Wayne State University's degree offerings in Farmington Hills and Livonia at the WSU Open House from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the WSU Oakland Center, 33737 W. 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills. Attendees will get to discuss Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising and Transfer Credit Evaluation to find out how to enroll in or transfer to Wayne State in time for fall classes. Representatives from the School of Business Administration, College of Engineering, College of Nursing and Executive and Professional Development also will be available. Degree offerings at the Oakland Center and Schoolcraft Center include: -Business, MBA and GMAT Prep Course. -Computer Science. -Computer Technology. -Engineering Technology. -ADN-to-BSN for OCC Nursing graduates. Students who complete the GMAT Prep Course and enroll in the School of Business Administration's graduate programs in business administration, accounting or taxation within one year of completing the prep course will receive a $100 refund on the GMAT prep course tuition. The Oakland Center also offers a variety of general education classes so students can work on their degree with the added convenience of being close to home or work. The new Schoolcraft Center on 7 Mile will open this fall, and training through the Office of Executive and Professional Development is available year-round.
