'Blindfolds Off: Judges on How They Decide' focus of FBA book club

The Book Club of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will meet next on Tuesday, May 26, at noon in Room 722 of the Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit for a discussion of "Blindfolds Off: Judges on How They Decide," by Joel Cohen.

"Blindfolds Off" takes a look at what judges bring to their cases and how they decide them. In 13 interviews with federal judges about significant and controversial cases that came before them, New York criminal defense attorney Joel Cohen explores the role of the judiciary in an engaging manner. The book is available for purchase at all bookstores, Amazon.com, and barnesandnoble.com.

All points of view will be welcomed and respected at the Book Club session. Cost is no charge for FBA members; $5 non-members. Lunch will be offered for $10 or attendees may bring their own.
