Employment, criminal, issues of medical marijuana discussed

The Oakland County Bar Association will present “Medical Marijuana: Navigating the Employment, Criminal, and Business Issues” on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the OCBA Center in Bloomfield Hills.

The training will provide an overview of Michigan medical marijuana laws.  The panel discussion will include employment law issues, business law concerns, landlord-tenant questions, and potential criminal law issues clients may face in this dynamic and often-confusing area of the law.

Pre-registration cost is $30 for OCBA members, $20 for OCBA new lawyers (P73649+), and $45 non-members.  Cost at the door is $45 for OCBA members and $60 for non-members.  Register online at www.ocba.org.  For additional information, call 248-334-3400.
