PHOTO #1: Known as “fighters” for its clients, Johnson Law held its annual Holiday Party December 3 at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. The festive event, hosted by the firm’s founder, Ven Johnson (right), also served as an opportunity for party-goers to help the Mittens for Detroit organization. The charity’s “sole purpose is to collect, purchase, and distribute new mittens and gloves to children and adults in the city of Detroit,” according to Executive Director Wendy Shepherd, who is pictured with Johnson.

PHOTO #2: Posing for a photo at the party were (left to right) attorney Charlie Ash, former Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Amy Hathaway, and Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Muriel Hughes.

PHOTO #3: Among those on hand for the holiday get-together at the Westin were (left to right) attorney Byron Pitts; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Denise Langford Morris; Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Cynthia Diane Stephens; and Wayne County Circuit Judges Patricia Fresard and Craig Strong.
