International business lawyer to speak Jan. 19

A Wayne State University Law School alumnus will share his insight and expertise Tuesday, Jan. 19, about international law based on his years of experience representing U.S. companies in business transactions throughout the world.

Timothy Andersson, Wayne Law class of 1992, will speak from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 2261 of the law school, 471 W. Palmer St. Lunch will be provided. Parking is available for $7 (credit or debit cards only) in Parking Structure No. 1 across West Palmer Street from Wayne Law. The lecture is sponsored by the law school’s Program for International Legal Studies.

Andersson is a member of Dickinson Wright PLLC in Troy, where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance in addition to international law. He represents companies in all legal aspects of establishing business operations in North America and abroad. Andersson, who is fluent in German and Swedish, also assists companies in export control matters.
