'Relevant Appellate Topics' explored

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Committee began its Fundamentals of Juvenile Law – Year 10 brown bag lunch lecture series with a look at “Relevant Appellate Topics” on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.  Lecture moderator Melinda Deel (right) of Melinda N. Deel PLLC was pleased to present guest speaker Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Elizabeth Gleicher who was appointed to the Michigan Court of Appeals in 2007. Previously, Gleicher was an attorney in private practice for 27 years. She began her career at Goodman, Eden, Millender, & Bedrosian in Detroit and opened her own litigation practice in 1994. She is an elected Fellow of the International Society of Barristers (2004) and the American College of Trial Lawyers (2005). Gleicher has served on the faculty of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and as an adjunct professor at Wayne State University Law School.
