PHOTO #1: On Wednesday, March 15, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners honored the Birmingham Robotics Team during its meeting in the Board of Commissioners auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac.  Seaholm High School Coaches Bernie Simms (far left) and Patrick Hoover (third from right) along with team members gladly accepted a proclamation from Commissioners Marcia Gershenson (second from left), Shelley Goodman Taub (holding proclamation), Nancy L. Quarles (fourth from right), Wade Fleming (second from right), and Bill Dwyer (far right).

PHOTO #2: Also during the March 15 meeting, the Board of Commissioners honored the Oakland County Farm Bureau (OCFB).  On hand for the proclamation presentation were (left to right)  Frank Genovese, OCFB Board member; Aliza Marks, OCFB member, Cathy Genovese, OCFB Board member; Sara Ressler, OCFB member; Commissioner Bob Hoffman; Kathleen Blust, OCFB member; LC Scramlin, OCFB Board member; Matt Scramlin, OCFB Board President; Commissioner Tom Middleton; Candy Mitchell, OCFB Board member; Penny Thomas, OCFB Administrative Manager; Gordon McKay, OCFB board member; Tony Raney, OCFB Board member; and Commissioner Christine Long.

PHOTO #3: In addition, the Board of Commissioners honored Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Varsity Football Team which won the Division 3 championship. Board Chair Michael J. Gingell (far left) happily presented a proclamation to the team and Varsity Head Coach George Porritt (holding proclamation), Varsity Assistant Coach Jeff Phillips (eighth from right), and JV Assistant Coach Jeremy Ruckhaber (third from right).
