Oakland County Animal Shelter seeks holiday donations

The Oakland County Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center has created a wish list on Amazon.com seeking holiday toy donations for the adoptable pets in its care. Each day, the shelter posts a video on its Facebook page (@OakGov.OPAC) of one of its adoptable dogs selecting a gift from beneath the Christmas tree. "Some of our adoptable pets stay in the care of Oakland County Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center for a while," Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. "Donating a toy will help the pets feel at home at the shelter until a qualified family gives them a forever home."
