'Luncheon Limine' series launches January 23

In its continuing efforts to foster collegiality between the Oakland County bench and bar, the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) introduces “Luncheon Limine,” a brown bag lunch series between judges and attorneys. Attendees can bring their questions (and their lunch) for an informal discussion of legal topics and practice issues.

The inaugural lunch will feature Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Phyllis McMillen from the Civil/Criminal Division and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge James Alexander from the Business Court and will focus on the new Civil Discovery Rules. “Luncheon Limine: The New Discovery Rules Three Weeks In” will take place on Thursday, Jan. 23, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Circuit Court’s Judicial Conference Room, 1200 N. Telegraph Road in Pontiac.

This event is free to everyone but space is limited. To register, visit www.ocba.org and click on “events.”
