Judge joins Oakland County Circuit Court bench

On Tuesday, July 13, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Yasmine I. Poles (center) took her seat on the bench during an investiture ceremony conducted in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium in Pontiac. Poles was appointed by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to fill the vacancy created when Judge Hala Jarbou stepped down last fall following her appointment to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan. Happy to congratulate Poles at the ceremony were (left to right) Michigan Supreme Court Justices Megan K. Cavanagh and David F. Viviano.
