Oakland County Bar Association continues Gubernatorial Series

The Oakland County Bar Association is pleased to announce another First Tuesday Breakfast and Networking Program series - this time featuring Michigan's gubernatorial candidates. The series launched with Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard on Tuesday, June 1.

The next featured speaker, Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, will present at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, at the Iroquois Club located at 43248 North Woodward in Bloomfield Hills. Bernero will address why he is seeking the office of governor of the state of Michigan and what he plans to do if he is elected.

Speaker of the House Andy Dillon presents the following week on Tuesday, July 13. Dillon's presentation also will be held at the Iroquois Club at 7:30 a.m.

The First Tuesday series provides an opportunity to see the candidates in a small venue, to have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates, and to do so for a modest charge.

Preregistered reservations are $15 for OCBA members and $25 for non-members. The cost for walk in's is $35. The registration fee covers a continental breakfast and the opportunity to network with legal professionals and community members as well.
