This year’s WBA Golden Gavel Award was presented posthumously to Michele R. Miller, former Wayne State University Law School dean of students who passed away last August. Going forward, this award will be known as the Michele R. Miller Award. The Wolverine Bar Association (WBA) hosted its 51st Annual Barristers’ Ball on Saturday, March 17, at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit.
This year’s theme was “Forward Reflections — Creating Tomorrow Today.”
