Trott & Trott PC, NDeX Michigan, Attorneys Title Agency (ATA), and REDICO Management Inc. partnered to host the fourth annual Local Food Fair on Friday, Oct. 19, at the Trott Financial Center in Farmington Hills. Happy to welcome attendees were Local Food Fair committee members (l-r) Kendra Komp with Trott, Amanda Warner with REDICO, Dave Moldovan with ATA, and Suzanne Bologna with NDex.  “This Local Food Fair we sponsor every year at our office,” said Komp. “It’s a fun event everybody loves attending but it also promotes the purchasing of local foods and the ways it benefits the environment.”

This year’s confirmed food fair vendors included Chazzano Coffee Roasters, Cherry Republic, Concrete Cuisine, Dave’s Sweet Tooth, DeYoung’s Fore Seasons, Good People Popcorn, Grassfields Cheese, Great Harvest Bread Company, Iceni Tea, Jacques Tacos, Jem Fruit/Margo’s Nutz, John Henry Meats, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes, Sansonetti Sauces, Simply Suzanne Granola, and Treat Dreams.  The Local Food Fair is an extension of the ongoing environmental initiatives of Trott and NDeX, which includes annual Earth Day Celebrations and year-round recycling campaigns.

The event featured 16 local merchants, including farmers, grocers, and retailers, who educated Trott, NDeX and ATA employees on the benefits of buying local and regional goods, while also providing them with the opportunity to sample and purchase Michigan products. To further embrace the environmentally-friendly theme, customers were provided with recyclable shopping bags decorated by the children at Bright Horizons, a community childcare facility with a location in the Trott Financial Center.
