The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, conducted the 2013 Wade Hampton McCree Jr. Award Luncheon on Friday, March 1, at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit. This year’s honoree was Cooley Law School Professor Florise Neville-Ewell, at right, with Dean John Nussbaumer. The award honors individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the advancement of social justice in areas involving poverty, promoting economic or educational opportunity, or fighting discrimination involving race, gender, ethnicity, national origin, religion, or economic status.
