Health Care Reform
The Health Care Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, presented “Health Care Reform: Preparing for 2014 and Beyond” on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the T. Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit. The guest speaker for the seminar was Kathryn L. Bakich, national health compliance leader with the Segal Company in Washington, D.C. Happy to welcome Bakich were (l-r) Abe Singer of Kitch, Drutchas, Wagner, Valitutti, & Sherbrook PC; Jacqui Kelly of Sullivan, Ward, Asher, & Patton PC; and Michael Pappas of Beaumont Health System-Office of Legal Affairs. Bakich is an attorney and Segal senior vice president who has more than 20 years of experience specializing in federal laws and regulations affecting health care coverage.
