Judge Ron Lowe to tell the story of Lincoln’s life before politics

Cooley Law School adjunct professor and Michigan 35th District Court Judge Ron Lowe will trade his robe for a stovepipe hat as he plays the role of Abraham Lincoln in a presentation titled, “Take a Journey with President Lincoln.” Lowe is a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters and has been a professional storyteller for nearly 30 years.
The presentation will take those in attendance on a journey through Lincoln’s childhood, early adulthood and practice of law. These are periods of Lincoln’s life not normally covered in school or explored in popular culture. Lowe will illuminate Lincoln’s humor, unveil interesting and little-known facts about Lincoln and give some practical advice regarding the practice of law. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Cooley auditorium at noon on Feb. 13.
