Fighting for Fair Housing

The Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit (FHCMD) presented a Fair Housing Attorney Training on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Southfield Public Library. Taking part in the event were (l-r) FHCMD cooperating attorney Steve Tomkowiak of the Law Office of Steve Tomkowiak, FHCMD cooperating attorney and FHCMD board member John Obee, FHCMD intern Brian Hommel, FHCMD Executive Director Margaret Brown of Margaret L. M. Brown PLC, and FHCMD cooperating attorney Chui Karega of the Law Offices of Chui Karega. A non-profit, tax-exempt, citizen based organization, FHCMD was established in 1977 for the purpose of addressing fair housing issues in the metropolitan Detroit area.
