Holiday Gifts

WMU-Cooley Law School students, faculty and staff worked together to bring some holiday cheer to 32 Lansing areas senior citizens. Each year the law school’s Sixty Plus, Inc., Elderlaw Clinic coordinates efforts to collect holiday gifts in support of the “Be a Santa to a Senior,” program of the Aging Network. The program provides a holiday gift for the community’s lonely and financially challenged seniors.

“In many cases, this may be the only holiday gift the participating seniors receive,” said Suzie Sturdevant, Sixty Plus, Inc., Elderlaw Clinic office manager. “We are grateful for the response from the WMU-Cooley family who showed support for our community’s aging this holiday season.”
