Attorney launches podcast series on urban revitalization

Lipson Neilson real estate attorney David Michael has launched a podcast series titled “Revitalize Our Cities Now!” at www.podcast detroit.com/show/revitalize-our-cities-now. The podcast series is for entrepreneurs, community groups, real estate investors and developers, and everyone with a stake in urban revitalization.

Michael’s guests will include experts with first-hand urban revitalization experience. Listeners will hear conversations about entrepreneurs, governments, and organizations revitalizing the city centers of Detroit, Pontiac, Saginaw, Flint, and other Michigan cities.

Michael will also engage his guests in discussions about structuring a start-up business, financing, and operating bricks-and-mortar businesses and communities in the city. They will also talk about the legal issues attached to certain aspects of urban revitalization, like acquiring land, redevelopment incentives, real estate and non-profit law, private equity, venture capital, immigration and economic redevelopment, and more.

Michael practices law in many different areas including real estate law and litigation, real estate transactions, commercial leasing, and urban revitalization law. He is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and a member of the State Bar of Michigan in the Information Technology Law and Real Property Law sections.
