Former NALS member dies at 90
Myrna Curtis, a 25-year member of NALS, died March 10 in Lansing at the age of 90.
The Marshall native was the first Professional Legal Secretary in Lansing and worked for Barry DeVine and William Mackay.
In 1968, she was honored as Legal Secretary of the Year.
Curtis was a lifetime member of the VFW 701 Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles and the Elks.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Raymond "Dusty" Curtis; and sister MaryLe Hill. She is survived by daughters, Susan Curtis, Marylynn (John, Jr.) Bain; grandchildren, Jennifer (Garrett), Johnny (Jen), Laura (Josh); and great-grandchild Amelia Raylynn.
Services were held Saturday, March 14 at the Tiffany Funeral Home in Lansing.
