MSP enjoys 98th birthday celebration with open house

On April 23, Michigan State Police employees combined the department's 98th Birthday Celebration and the annual "Take Your Child To Work Day" in an event held at the MSP headquarters building in Lansing. Gov. Rick Snyder had proclaimed April 19 through April 25 as MSP History Week.

This event included an open house for MSP employees and their children.

Several MSP specialty units gave demonstrations, and there were several displays, hot dogs, face painting and a cake.
