55th District Court announces several personnel changes

The 55th District Court Probation Department announces several personnel and work distribution changes.

Amy Iseler has accepted a position in the private sector as the Clinical Supervisor at Cognitive Consultants, and Eva Higgins is retiring.

Former 55th District Court probation clerk Lindsay Kruger left the court in January 2015 for a probation officer position at the 12th District Court in Jackson. She has now returned as a probation officer to fill the vacancy created by Iseler. She will supervise a general probation caseload.

Nicole King is the new probation clerk. She previously worked as an auxiliary officer for the Lansing Community College Police Department.

Matthew Weiland joins the court from Ingham County Pretrial Services to fill the vacancy created by Higgins' retirement. He will work half-time as a Sobriety Court probation officer and half-time as a substance abuse assessor.

Jesse Besonen will shift into Sobriety Court full-time, coordinating Sobriety Court Pretrial Services and transfers as well.

Emily Fabry and Linda Burkholder continue to supervise general probation caseloads, with intimate partner Domestic Violence probation files assigned to Fabry. Alan Spencer remains the Mental Health Court probation officer.
