Rajendra named shareholder at firm

Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C. recently announced that Archana Rajendra, Karl Butterer, Lisa Hamameh, Ray Littleton, and Mindi Johnson are newly elected shareholders.

Rajendra is an experienced litigator in the firm's Lansing office and is a graduate of Michigan State University and of Indiana University School of Law.

She joined the firm in 2011 as a member of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group. She has substantial experience preparing and litigating appellate, insurance defense and workers' compensation cases.

Her experience also includes counseling and advising employers on human resource issues and risk management.

Additionally, Rajendra has worked extensively with human resource and risk management teams to address current litigation needs and mitigate future liability with proactive work place policies, as well as advising municipalities on exposure and proactive policy modifications.

Previously an adjunct professor at MSU, she currently is an adjunct professor at WMU-Cooley Law School.

Rajendra serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a member of the Lansing Economic Area Partnership's Diversity Lansing Advisory Committee.

Butterer is a litigator in the areas of employment, torts, civil rights, contract disputes and commercial litigation; Johnson chairs theEmployee Benefits practice group. Both are attorneys in the Grand Rapids office.

Hamameh and Littleton are both litigation attorneys working in the firm's Farmington Hills office.
