What is your most treasured material possession?
Material possessions don’t mean much to me. I’m happy if my kids have a nice house and good schools to go to.

What was always written on your grade school report card?
“Poor handwriting” and “Talks too much in class.”

What is your happiest childhood memory?
Going on Sundays to visit relatives or out to a restaurant.

When you were considering law school, what was Plan B?
There was no Plan B. I always wanted to be a lawyer.

What would surprise people about your job?
How much I wait around for other people.

What do you wish someone would invent?
A way to eat like I do without being fat.

Do you prefer email, text, or a phone call? Phone call. Email would be a close second.

When you look back into the past, what do you miss most?
My parents. They always were supportive of whatever I wanted to do and made me think I could do anything.

Who is on your guest list for the ideal dinner party? Bill Gates, Pope Francis, Megyn Kelly, Joe Biden, Mickey Lolich (childhood idol), Yo-Yo Ma, and John Dingell. I could just sit back and listen to the conversation.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would that be?
A rock singer from the late 60s/early 70s. That would be fun.

What’s the most awe-inspiring place you’ve ever been? The Cologne Cathedral in Germany. Amazing.

What is one thing you would like to learn to do? Skate. Ice or roller. I can’t do either.

What is something most people don’t know about you? When I was in law school, I wanted to end up in Hollywood/Los Angeles as a sports agent or entertainment lawyer.

What question do you most often ask yourself? Why did I schedule so many hearings today?
