Foster Swift litigation attorney Scott Mandel was recently granted membership to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA.)
Established in 1958, ABOTA is a national association, made up of experienced attorneys and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the right to a civil jury trial as stated in the Seventh Amendment.
A former president of the Ingham County Bar Association, Mandel has tried over 100 cases in state and federal courts and arbitration panels before agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission.
Among Mandel’s practice areas are business litigation, employment litigation and insurance defense. Much of his practice concerns complex litigation, including representation of governmental entities and large corporations.
An alumnus of Michigan State University and an active member of MSU’s Mid-Michigan Alumni Association, Mandel earned his juris doctorate, cum laude, from Wayne State University College of Law.
