Fraser Trebilcock attorney Shaina R. Reed was recently appointed chair of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel’s (MDTC) General Liability Section.
The MDTC is an association that consists of the top lawyers in the state dedicated to the representation of individuals and corporations in civil litigation. The significant impact of MDTC is shown through its amicus briefs, which provide relevant, additional information in support of issues often times at the request of the Michigan Supreme Court.
For the past four years, Reed has been named a “Rising Star” in Michigan by Super Lawyers Magazine, showcasing her talents in civil litigation, employment, and labor law. An active member of her community, she serves on the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan where she is a member of the Court Rules, Forms, and Procedures Committee, and also is a member of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Michigan.
