Hillock appointed to veteran board

Attorney Kimberlee Hillock, shareholder and chair of the Appellate Work practice group at the East Lansing-based law firm of Willingham & Coté, P.C., has been appointed to the board of the Michigan Military and Veterans Hall of Honor, for the 2019-2021 term.

This appointment is a natural extension of Hillock’s expertise as an attorney; she serves as a board member of The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and a member of its Amicus Committee.

She is also a member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society Advocates Guild, and has been listed as one of Michigan’s top appellate attorneys by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine for the past three years.

Her acceptance of this position is a direct reflection of Hillock’s commitment to veterans.  As a Marine veteran, current Judge Advocate of the American Legion Department of Michigan, member of the Marine Corps League, member of the Women Marines Association, member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and volunteer for the Veterans’ Treatment Court, she remains dedicated to serving veterans throughout the state.
