CPCAN in holiday mood

A Holiday Open House for the Jackson County Council for Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect (CPCAN) in Jackson was held on December 7. The University of Michigan Gimble A Cappella singing group (above) performed Christmas music at the event. CPCAN’s mission includes educating the community by offering free weekly parenting classes, training professionals, and working with the Department of Human Services in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. It also provides truancy programs through the Jackson Family Court.
