Jackson Chamber Economic Club to discuss the Affordable Care Act
Businesses are encouraged to attend the Jackson Chamber's April 15th Economic Club Lunch on Monday, April 15 to learn what the new healthcare law and the (ACA) means for small businesses as well as the federal and state provisions to help local small business owners understand how the law will affect them.
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cascades Manor House, 1970 Kibby Road in Jackson.
The presenter will be Mary Huttlinger from the Small Business Majority, an advocacy group founded and run by small business owners to focus on solving the biggest problems facing small businesses today.
Topics to be discussed include small business tax credits; health insurance exchange; cost containment; and tools and resources available for small businesses.
The cost is $25 for Chamber members in advance; $45 for potential members in advance.
