What is your most treasured material possession? My 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo.

What advice do you have for someone considering law school? Law school is hard and time consuming, it takes a big commitment, and if you’re not ready to make the sacrifice and commitment, wait until you are ready.

Favorite local hangouts: My house with my wife and kids. But when I do venture out of the house, I would say NCG Cinemas for a movie.

Favorite websites: If you’re referring to websites not pertaining to the profession, then ESPN.com and msuspartans.com.

Favorite app:
Tweetcaster.

Favorite music: I listen to a wide variety of music, but anything Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, or Eminem is generally what I’m listening to. My all time favorite, however, is probably Nirvana’s “Live” and “Unplugged in New York.”

What is your happiest childhood memory? Golfing with my father.

What is your most typical mood? Relaxed.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would that be? Donald Trump.

What’s the most awe-inspiring place you’ve ever been?
Cayman Islands.

What would you say to your 16-year-old self?
“Slow Down. Life moves fast.”

What do you do to relax? Watch a movie.

How would you describe your home? With two kids, it’s chaotic.

Any regrets? Not going to law school earlier in life.

What word do you overuse? Awesome. Most things that I claim are awesome are not actually “awesome.”

What is one thing you would like to learn to do? Speak a foreign language.

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would they be? Thomas Jefferson, John Belushi, and Dave Grohl.

What is the best advice you ever received? Always make your last shot.

What do you drive? A pick-up.

What would you drive if money were no object? I would have a chauffeur for a Rolls- Royce.

Favorite place to spend money: Best Buy.

What is your motto? Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument.

What would you like carved onto your tombstone? “Father, Husband, Brother, Son.” Those are the most important aspects of my life.
