'Missing Persons Day' set May 16

The Michigan State Police Biometrics and Identification Division will host the 5th annual "Missing in Michigan" event, from 1 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, May 16.

The event wil be held at the General Motors Renaissance Center in Detroit.

This is a great event not only for families of missing persons but also for law enforcement to update their missing persons cases with biometric information, such as fingerprints and DNA profiles.

The event is an opportunity to remember the missing people from our communities and network to bring them home.
