PHOTO #1: Just The Beginning Foundation (JTBF) recently hosted its Summer Legal Institute – Detroit for high school students interested in law as a possible career. The law firm of Dickinson Wright hosted a reception for the students at which they had the chance to meet with lawyers and judges recruited by State Bar of Michigan President Anthony Jenkins (second from left). Also attending the reception were (left to right) Cooley-Auburn Hills Campus Dean John Nussbaumer, U.S. District Court Judge Victoria Roberts; State Bar Director of Diversity Gregory Conyers; and JTBF Executive Director Paula Lucas.
